Given its attachment to a listed structure, listed building consent was required. Construction took place while the school remained operational, requiring careful scheduling and coordination to minimise disruption. The site was surrounded by classrooms with limited vehicle access, necessitating precise logistical planning. The works included modern electrical and mechanical system installations and thermal fabric upgrades to enhance energy efficiency. The project was successfully completed in 2022.
